Risorgimento - a time of renewal or renaissance; revival

Raven was a ghost. Well, her real name wasn’t Raven. But in her culture, when you become a ghost, you change your name. Raven’s human name was Autumn. Also in her culture, you could get revived, back to a human, but no one knew how. They suspected it was by doing a good deed. But only a few ghosts had ever gotten revived in their lives, but no ghost knew what they had done to earn it.

Raven was hiding in the remains of her house. She had been 12 years old when she died from a fire. It had been one year since then, and Raven had gotten used to ghost life. It was easy, actually.

Another thing with ghosts was that they could make themselves invisible, or they could be visible if they wanted people to see them. But even if a ghost is invisible, another ghost can always see that ghost.

Raven never did the same thing each day. Ghosts didn’t have to sleep, but Raven did sleep sometimes because she sometimes wanted to feel like a human again. She often explored, finding new places and staying in human houses.

One day, while Raven was exploring, she saw a house. Nothing new, just a normal house, but there was something…off about it. Taking a closer look, Raven didn’t see anything unusual, so she went inside, and came face to face with another ghost.

“Who are you?” gasped the strange ghost.

    “Who are you?” Raven countered.

“I’m Rowan,” said the ghost. “I guess you could say I’m 14. Who are you and why are you here? There are rarely ever ghosts in these parts.”

“Are there humans in this house?”

    “Yep.”

“Well, can we talk somewhere other than their front door? They could go through us.”

Rowan shuddered, and led Raven to the living room.

“Who are you and why are you here?” Rowan immediately asked.

“I knew this place looked off,” Raven muttered to herself. “I’m Raven and I’m technically 14. I’m here because I was exploring and this house looked strange.”

    “Ok?”

“What’s that sound?” Raven looked up sharply. “Screaming…and water, and crackling.”

“A fire!” yelled Rowan. “Quick, we have to help!”

Rowan and Raven went visible and went to see what was happening. There was a big fire at the back of the house!

Raven glided as fast as she could into the house and grabbed the nearest container, then she went to help.

Rowan desperately started searching for a container or bucket or something, but he couldn’t find anything. He kept looking.

The human, who was surprised but glad to see Raven, worked even faster, then screamed again when her shirt caught on fire. Raven quickly dumped the bucket of water she was holding over the human’s head.

    “Thanks…” gasped the human.

    “Keep working!”

Soon, the fire was out. Rowan came out and gaped at Raven, who was flying higher into the sky in a ring of gold.

    “Raven! You-you’re being revived!”

    “You think?!”

    “Wow…” said the human.

“I’m so glad I met you, Rowan! Thank you!”

“Thank you! I’ll find you, one day!”

Raven disappeared in a blinding flash of gold, reappearing right in the middle of her old home. When you revive, you appear right where you had died.

Raven decided that she had to fix her house and do everything she could to make it better again.

    Hope you like it :P

And NOW, the days of the week!! (They're not that good but whatever)

    Monday

Monday is grumpy. He wakes up hungry and doesn’t have breakfast. He yells at the other days. He makes everyone else feel grumpy. He likes green clothes, green jeans and green clothes in general. He loves rain and thunderstorms and fog and general bad weather. His breath smells…not good. His wish is that he retires and there are six days of the week. His biggest fear is a sunny day with no work.

    Tuesday

Tuesday is excited, but very tired. She drags herself out of bed and has a small breakfast. She is almost always late for school. She likes yellow clothes, light and dark and in the middle. But all in all, Tuesday is nice, cheerful, etc, even though she is a bit tired in the morning. Her wish is a ped day on Tuesday. Her biggest fear is waking up late.

    Wednesday

Wednesday is excited and only a tad tired. He has a decent breakfast and always gets to school on time. He likes red clothes, light and dark, but not pink. Wednesday is, like Tuesday, friendly and cheerful, and also bouncy. His wish is a sunny day every day. His biggest fear is some of his best friends being grumpy or sad.

    Thursday

Thursday is basically the same as Tuesday. A bit tired, but kind and cheerful. He has a pretty decent breakfast. Thursday usually doesn’t drink enough water and always ends up yawning near the end of the day. He likes dark blue clothes, and normal blue clothes. His wish is that yawns weren’t invented. His biggest fear is being lost in the desert.

    Friday

Friday is always tired. Not fully, but a lot. She gets up late and barely has any breakfast and yawns in class. She is kind and has lots of friends but doesn’t have a lot of energy. She likes cyan and turquoise and light blue clothes, and her best friends are Tuesday and Thursday. Her wish is that there was no school on Friday. Her biggest fear is death.

    Saturday

Saturday always sleeps in, then gets up and does lots of activities for the whole day, eating a normal amount of food. He is kind and bouncy and adventurous. He likes light grey clothes for some reason, and is kind to all the days of the week, even the very grumpiest ones. His wish is that every Saturday it was a sunny day. His biggest fear is also death.

    Sunday

Sunday sleeps in a lot. He does a lot of stuff, but also grumps about Monday the next day. Sunday basically has a lazy day. He likes black clothes for some weird reason, but is kind to all the days of the week. His wish is that he could be before Saturday. His biggest fear is if Monday yells at him (which has luckily never happened.)

    Hope you like it! :P
